Governor Walker said he wouldn't talk to anyone about the mess he has caused in Wisconsin. Guess what? He took a call he thought was from one of the Koch brothers, he is one of the money people behind a lot of these loons. He had no trouble discussing the way things were going.
Then the deputy attorney general of Indiana thinks they should use live ammunition on the protesters in Wisconsin. Are these people really nuts? I think so. When the so called Tea-Party were protesting and rallying this past summer does anyone think they should have been subdued by being killed?

WISCONSIN UNIONS
I have to say I am appalled, and saddened by what's happening in WI.
The lies that are being spread by Gov. Walker and his minions are so easily seen through, but they just keep repeating them. The right wing media repeat them. I would like to call the so-called right-wing talk radio type news people, but that is impossible. A couple of them are actually crazy. The rest are in the pocket of business.
People today know they have to negotiate in good faith. Probably pay more for insurance and pensions. That does not mean that they should not be able to negotiate these things. Walker and his group have decided that the public unions should not be able to negotiate. This is wrong. People have fought and died to be able to negotiate.
I hear the argument that business is hurting, well join the club, we are all hurting. Their argument would hold more weight if the very same people who say this weren't shipping jobs over seas, and getting huge tax breaks. Mobil Exxon is one of the most profitable companies on earth, yet they received huge tax breaks. The Koch brothers are behind most of this. They are two of the most wealthy people in this country, when is enough, enough?

SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS
As previously stated in a old post. I didn't see how anyone was going to beat the Packers. It wasn't the most dominating game, but they never trailed and in the end they won.
Congratulations to the Green Bay Packers.

Greed and Incompetence
I work for a company that has just been sold. For the last 5 years my previous company has been so mismanaged as to cause them to go into bankruptcy. What is the first thing this company does? They give retention bonuses to the very people who got us into this mess. After 18 months we come out of bankruptcy. All during that time they cut employees too well below efficient operating standards. They instituted a well publicized program worth around 40 million dollars. Within 6 months they had another program that almost contradicted everything the previous program did. Neither program was worth a damn. Now we are sold, and the clowns that claimed to be management will make another bundle of money.
The problem is that the management people of today, I guess I will go farther The Chamber of Commerce, most of the GOP look at the working people of today as a resource to be used up and discarded. They look at businesses as something to squeeze every penny out of and them throw away, or in our case sell

Religious Intolerance
This is from last week, but I just got around to it today. The newly elected governor of Alabama was quoted as saying "So anyone here today who has not accepted Jesus Christ as their savior, I'm telling you, you're not my brother, and you're not my sister, and I want to be your brother,"
Is this uncommon rhetoric? I don't think so, but from a elected official it is. These loonies never see that they are the cause of more heartache and suffering than anyone else. Look back in history and you will see a lot of death has been caused because one group or another doesn't conform to someone else's idea of what is right. Today we have the radical Muslim who hate the Christians, or the Christians who hate the Jews. Or like the governor of Alabama who has to denegrate other people, it goes on and on.
I see it as one group or another who has to validate their ideas because it makes them feel superior to the rest of us.

Vince Flynn's Pursuit of Honor is a book about a CIA agent battling terrorists.
The story is fine. My problem with the book is the simplistic, or should I say childish view of right and wrong. Mitch Rapp the hero actually thinks he might have to kill a friend and colleague who is showing a conscience. Mitch's rationalization is that he is right and everyone else is wrong and what ever he does is OK. He shows no respect for anyone or anything.
This is not an America I want.

Green Bay Packers
I watched the Packers play the Falcons the other night. Wow! is all I can say. If they can play like that against Chicago they are Super Bowl bound.
